This high incidence of error, which results in such elevated levels of emissions, is due to the general ignorance of the implication of the Thermal Range in the Spark Plugs, the adequate operation of the engine and the complexity of the problem which does not easily present a solution.

Only in the United States:

1. When the sparkplugs are chosen; 90 million people are committing an error.
2. 93 million automobiles are drastically increasing their emissions.
3. And each of the persons who changed their sparkplugs did so very honestly, following the procedures established by the manufacturers of sparkplugs, who advise the sparkplugs to be installed through a Spark Plug Condition Chart that advises which sparkplugs to use and which ironically led them to make a mistake.

It is clear that such a method to advise sparkplugs only through Catalogs, is demonstrated to be insufficient and therefore it must be reviewed.
